Connector
Flow & trust
In our setup: Guardian Angel
Permanent role that supports both the team and the client. Facilitates rhythms (Quick Sync, Flow Check-in, Disruptor Dialogue), detects tensions early, creates safety for feedback.

Driver
Purpose & impact
In our setup: an Angel or the client. Rotates.
Temporary role that gives direction and watches over impact. Not a traditional manager. Not the person who takes all the decisions. Not a hierarchical boss.
- •Keeps the team sharp on mission and big goals
- •Watches over progress and team activity
- •Escalates to higher-ups or other teams when needed
- •Focuses on the WHAT and WHY, not who does what
Doers
Execution & learning
In our setup: every Angel. Including Connector and Driver.
In AngelFlow E3, EVERYONE is a Doer, including the Driver and Connector. These roles add to the real work, they do not replace it.
- •Full autonomy over HOW they do their work
- •Ownership of their energy balance (ABC tasks)
- •Active role in decision-making through consent
- •Responsibility for their own development
Roles rotate, work stays
The Driver role rotates each quarter. The Connector role stays permanent.

Driver in action
A retail company needs a summer campaign that lifts sales by 20 percent in two weeks.
The Driver keeps the team focused on the 20 percent goal, watches the deadline, decides which channels get priority and ensures brand consistency. When a designer turns out to be overloaded, the Driver confirms a task redistribution based on what has the highest impact for the deadline.
Connector in action
A team works on a website migration. Deadlines are approaching and tensions are building.
The Connector notices during a Quick Sync that energy is dropping for one of the developers. Organises a spontaneous check-in, surfaces technical blockers and high workload, brings Driver and developer together for an open conversation, helps redistribute tasks based on energy profiles, keeps the client informed. The team finds a new approach, the developer gets breathing room, the project stays on track.
