Structure without meeting fatigue
Three rhythms reinforce each other, plus 1-on-1 peer reviews. Two to three hours of structured time per week, that is all.

Three rhythms, one self-steering system
Daily Quick Sync surfaces issues. Weekly Flow Check-in identifies patterns. Monthly Disruptor Dialogue turns tensions into experiments. Monthly 1-on-1 peer reviews build trust. Together they form a system that solves problems before they escalate.
Quick Sync
The heartbeat. Short, sharp, focused.
3 vragen:
- 1.What did you do yesterday?
- 2.What will you do today?
- 3.What blockers are you facing?
Replaces hours of status meetings. Teams can do this live (during coffee on a building site, at shift change in care) or async (WhatsApp or Teams for remote, whiteboard in production). Strict discipline: max 15 minutes, no troubleshooting during the sync, only signal.
Flow Check-in
Deeper than status. About energy, wellbeing and strategic progress.
Energy check (5 min)
Everyone shares their energy level (1-10) and one word for how they feel. Immediately visible who needs extra attention.
Energy conversation (15 min)
Focus on ABC task balance. Which tasks gave energy (A)? Which cost energy (C)? Can we redistribute? Example: a designer's C-task (technical documentation) is a developer's A-task. They swap. Both happier, work better done.
Identify blockers (15 min)
Four types: knowledge ("I do not know how"), resources ("no access to"), decision ("unclear direction"), energy ("only C-tasks"). Determine owner and solution per blocker immediately.
Align goals (10 min)
Personal weekly goals linked to team goals. Crucial: link goals to energy. A goal full of C-tasks is guaranteed to fail.
Disruptor Dialogue
Where tensions become breakthroughs.
Conflicts are seen as growth opportunities. Tensions are signals that the system wants to evolve.
Opening (5 min)
"What pattern do you want to change?" Ground rules: speak from yourself, listen to understand, seek solutions, no blame.
Tensions inventory (15 min)
Four categories: structural (processes, tools), relational (communication, work styles), energy (task imbalance), strategic (direction, priorities). Team picks 1-2 focus tensions.
Deep dive with 5 Whys (25 min)
Keep asking until you hit the core. Example: "deadlines are always last-minute" leads to "client gives late input" leads to "we do not proactively ask" leads to "no process" leads to "no ownership of client communication". That is the real issue.
Tension to experiment (10 min)
Every solution becomes an experiment with hypothesis ("if we do X we expect Y"), timeframe (2-4 weeks), measurable result and owner.
Consent and closing (5 min)
"Serious objections?" No objections means try it. Reality check on capacity.
1-on-1 Peer Reviews
Intimate feedback between colleagues, not group evaluation.
Max 4 per month, between colleagues who work directly together. Two variants: within-Cell (same team) or across-Cell (work across teams).
Protocol (30 min)
- 1.Energy check-in (5 min)
- 2.Appreciation round (5 min)
- 3.ABC task conversation (10 min)
- 4.Growth question (5 min)
- 5.Concrete commitments (5 min)
"When people feel safe enough to drop their armor, they stop forcing what does not fit and start flowing with what energizes them."
The power of integration
Quick Sync identifies daily problems and feeds into the Flow Check-in. Flow Check-in identifies patterns and sets the agenda for the Disruptor Dialogue. Disruptor Dialogue produces experiments that get monitored back in Quick Sync and Flow Check-in. Self-steering system, problems solved before they escalate.
